Trekkies 2: The Official Soundtrack

Now Available Wherever Music is Sold

Worn a Starfleet uniform to a rock concert recently? As seen in Trekkies 2, several Trek-inspired bands are taking their music to red alert. Full-length versions of these bands' live and studio recordings are now available on this unique CD.

Boldly go where no soundtrack has gone before with rock gods Warp 11, Klingon metal warriors Stovokor, "filk" (science fiction folk) innovator Leslie Fish, filk teenagers Angelica and Athrylis Sather Hodgetts, punk rock savants No Kill I and their spawn No Kill I: Deep Space Nine and No Kill I: The Next Generation.

This soundtrack also features the Trekkies 2 theme song, "Beam Me Up", written and performed by B-52's front man Fred Schneider and keyboardist Pat Irwin, and hilarious interview segments and outtakes from both Trekkies movies.

Trekkies 2 producer Mike Leahy explained, "We discovered some remarkably talented musicians who perform Trek-inspired songs to enthusiastic crowds -- and not just at conventions, but at packed rock clubs. The bands have huge followings, and in some cases are getting widespread college and commercial radio airplay."

Director Roger Nygard added, "These bands are hilarious, clever, entertaining... and most importantly: all about Star Trek. How can you top that combination?! That's why we put the music segment last in the movie -- nothing could follow it."

Marketed and distributed worldwide by Reboot Music.
